In the context of rapid global transformation driven by globalization, digital transformation, and socio-economic uncertainties, equipping students with strategic thinking, adaptability, and a global perspective has become an increasingly important requirement in modern higher education. With the orientation of strengthening internationalization in education, on the afternoon of May 11, 2026, at Room A301 – Campus 1, the ASU Master Class entitled “Navigating Sustainability through Future-Oriented Thinking” was successfully organized through the collaboration between Arizona State University and Lac Hong University.

The program attracted the participation of a large number of Finance and Banking students, particularly students from classes 23NH111, 24NH111, and 24NH112, as well as many others interested in sustainability, innovation, and strategic thinking within the global environment.

Designed according to international academic standards, the ASU Master Class provided students with opportunities to access modern thinking approaches currently applied at leading universities and enterprises worldwide. The program focused on several prominent topics, including Futures Thinking – future-oriented thinking and the long-term impacts of decisions; Systems Thinking – understanding interconnections and interactions within complex systems; Scenario Planning – developing future scenarios to enhance decision-making capabilities; as well as identifying megatrends, uncertainties, and adaptive skills in highly dynamic environments.

The class atmosphere was highly interactive, with active student engagement through discussions, group activities, and academic debates. Diverse perspectives on sustainable development, innovative thinking, and decision-making in the global context were shared, enabling students not only to acquire knowledge but also to develop analytical thinking, systems thinking, and the ability to approach issues from a strategic perspective.

Through the program, students were able to experience an international learning model directly at Lac Hong University, thereby enhancing their global integration capacity, adaptability, and confidence in meeting the increasingly demanding requirements of the modern labor market. The program also provided learners with a deeper understanding of the role of innovative thinking and interdisciplinary learning in the context of the digital economy and sustainable development, which are becoming major global trends.

The implementation of international Master Class programs continues to reaffirm Lac Hong University’s educational orientation of integrating global knowledge with practical application, enhancing international integration competencies, and promoting comprehensive student development. At the same time, the program serves as evidence of the modern, dynamic, and continuously innovative learning environment fostered by the Faculty of Finance and Accounting in its ongoing efforts to improve educational quality and prepare high-quality human resources for the future.
