LHU expands international partnership with Beijing Chinese Language and Culture College

On the afternoon of April 15, 2026, in Beijing, China, Lac Hong University (LHU) and Beijing Chinese Language and Culture College (BLCC) officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on language training and academic exchange. The event marks an important step in the University’s internationalization strategy, opening new opportunities for both faculty members and students.

Representing LHU were Associate Professor Lam Thanh Hien, PhD, Rector and Dr. Nguyen Thi Hoang Oanh, Head of the Office of International Affairs. The delegation was welcomed by the leadership of BLCC, along with representatives from its specialized departments.

Under the MoU, both sides will promote the exchange of lecturers and experts to share experience in Chinese language teaching, collaborate in developing training programs and compiling teaching materials, and implement student exchange programs as well as short-term language and cultural immersion internships.

The two sides also agreed to provide academic scholarships for outstanding students from LHU to study in Beijing. This initiative aims to offer students the opportunity to experience an authentic language environment, enhance their practical competencies, and deepen their understanding of Chinese culture.

Speaking at the ceremony, Associate Professor Lam Thanh Hien emphasized “The presence of the LHU delegation in Beijing demonstrates our strong commitment to expanding international partnerships with leading educational institutions. With BLCC's academic support, we believe this collaboration will create new breakthroughs in training quality and contribute to the development of high-quality human resources for society".

Representatives of BLCC also expressed their appreciation for LHU’s academic reputation and affirmed their commitment to working closely with the University’s Office of International Affairs to effectively implement the agreed areas of cooperation.

The MoU takes effect from the date of signing and serves as an important foundation for strengthening friendship and collaboration between the two institutions, while jointly pursuing sustainable development in education and the training of high-quality human resources in the years ahead.
