Lac Hong University Enters VNUR-2026 Top 100, Climbing 72 Places to Rank 52nd

The 2026 Vietnam University Rankings (VNUR) have been officially released. Lac Hong University (LHU) achieved a remarkable milestone by entering the VNUR-2026 Top 100, recording a significant leap of 72 places compared to 2025 to secure the 52nd position nationwide.

Among the 100 ranked higher education institutions, 46 schools improved their standings this year. Lac Hong University stands out as one of the institutions with the most impressive growth, reflecting its continuous efforts in enhancing training quality, scientific research, and university governance.

2026 marks the fourth consecutive year that VNUR has conducted its rankings using a comprehensive, objective approach that aligns with international standards. The initiative aims to drive quality improvement and increase transparency within the Vietnamese higher education system.

According to the report, VNUR-2026 reviewed 237 higher education institutions in Vietnam offering undergraduate degrees and higher. Of these, 193 schools had sufficient public data to be included in the rankings. To ensure independence and objectivity, VNUR does not utilize subjective surveys or data provided directly by the universities themselves.

The rankings are determined based on a set of 6 standards comprising 18 criteria, with weighted distributions designed to provide a holistic reflection of institutional performance.
