The donated collection covers a wide range of important academic fields, providing valuable reference materials for both students and lecturers, particularly those in Japanese Studies and disciplines related to Japanese culture and society. These resources will further enrich the Library’s materials, supporting students in their learning and research activities, while enhancing their in-depth and systematic understanding of Japan.

This is the second time LHU has received books from the Consulate General of Japan. In 2022, the University received nearly 100 specialized titles for students. With these two donations, the Japanese Studies bookshelf at the LHU Library has been enriched with valuable resources for students to explore throughout their academic journey.

Addressing the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lam Thanh Hien expressed his appreciation for the Consulate General’s support. He highlighted the meaningful impact of the Read Japan Project, emphasizing that the donated books not only benefit students but also serve as important references for lecturers and researchers seeking deeper insights into Japanese education, culture, and science. These books will be added to the Library’s catalog for readers to access.
This event reaffirms the strong cooperative relationship between LHU and the Consulate General of Japan. It also marks an important step in building a resource-rich learning environment, contributing to the enhancement of training quality and supporting students in fostering academic mindset in the era of globalization.
