Internship Criterion “From Not Knowing to Knowing, From Knowing to Mastery” – Truyen Thong Viet Tourism Company.

At 14:30 on 24 February 2022, lecturers from FAIE visited Truyen Thong Viet Tourism Company. The visit not only promoted cooperation between the University and the Enterprise but also enabled students majoring in Tourism and Travel Management to undertake internships and access employment opportunities at the Company. After completing their internships, students who meet the requirements or express their desire to work at the Company will be recruited and employed.

Representing the Faculty were:

• PhD Nguyen Van Tan – Dean of FAIE;

• MB Vu Duc Cuong – Head of the Division of Tourism Operations and Tour Guiding;

• Vo Thai Sinh – Corporate Relations Officer of FAIE.

Establishing an effective and long-term cooperation channel requires efforts from both sides. During the discussion, FAIE and Truyen Thong Viet Tourism Company deliberated and agreed on several contents in the cooperation agreement, including that FAIE will actively train and develop a workforce of Bachelor’s degree holders in Tourism and Travel Management for Truyen Thong Viet Tourism Company. In addition, FAIE will introduce suitable students, including those with good and very good academic performance, to undertake internships at the Company.

Furthermore, Truyen Thong Viet Tourism Company committed to creating favorable conditions and accepting students from FAIE for internships at the Company. The Company will provide practical guidance and advanced training in professional knowledge, expertise, and skills for students of the Faculty across its areas of operation. It will also create employment opportunities and recruit students from FAIE, with priority given to those majoring in Tourism and Travel Management.

With the criterion “From Not Knowing to Knowing, From Knowing to Mastery,” Truyen Thong Viet Tourism Company affirms its dedication to the profession and its thoroughness in training and guiding interns, ensuring that upon graduation students possess sufficient confidence and skills to adapt to their careers and working environments, etc. Regarding ethics, working style, and occupational safety, not only at Truyen Thong Viet Tourism Company but also during internships or employment at other companies, students must strictly comply with the rules and regulations of the internship unit and the University; uphold solidarity, honesty, and moral qualities; and promote dynamism and creativity to achieve effectiveness in assigned tasks.

This visit holds particularly important significance in improving training quality and helping graduates of Tourism and Travel Management quickly adapt to market demands.
