On 25–26 October 2023, freshmen of the 2023 cohort majoring in Tourism and Travel Management, The Faculty of Administration International Economics, Lac Hong University, embarked on their academic journey with a memorable field trip to Ma Da Forest and Tri An Lake. The trip not only provided valuable knowledge about tourism but also opened a gateway to exploration, stimulated creativity, and strengthened teamwork.

The excursion began with a classroom session in which Mr. Dang Minh Thuat introduced the freshmen to the interesting and exciting experiences awaiting them. The first destination was Ma Da Forest, where students immersed themselves in the pristine natural environment. Together with local experts, they explored the diversity of flora and fauna in the area and gained awareness of the importance of protecting and preserving the ecosystem.
The next part of the journey was a stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) experience on Tri An Lake. Students not only learned SUP paddling techniques but also enjoyed the serene and picturesque scenery of the lake. This was an excellent opportunity for freshmen to apply theoretical knowledge from the classroom to practice while creating unforgettable memories.

In the evening, students participated in a camping experience at Tri An Lake, fostering a friendly and close-knit atmosphere. They gathered around a campfire, shared stories, and enjoyed an outdoor meal together. The gala dinner by the lake served as a perfect highlight for the freshmen, featuring romantic decorations and vibrant music.
During the reflection session following the trip, many students expressed happiness and excitement. Le Minh, a first-year student, shared: “This was a wonderful experience! I learned much more about tourism and how we can preserve the beauty of nature.”
This field trip was not only an opportunity for students to learn about their future profession but also a platform for developing life skills and teamwork. With positive impressions and strong connections formed, the trip demonstrated that learning does not only take place in the classroom but also in every corner of real life.
